As part of the IFRC Agenda for Renewal process, a new ERP software was implemented to improve agility and efficiency in our day to day business activities across six functional workstreams; Finance, Logistics, Human Resources, Partnerships & Resource Development (PRD), Programs & Operations (P&O) and Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting (PMER) and three supporting ones, Digital Transformation, Training and Localisation & User Satisfaction.
The ERP Project will:
Enable the flow of information so that all our processes become connected globally.
Integrate more than 20 IFRC systems that are currently operating independently, eliminating data duplication and providing data integrity.
Increase efficiency by simplifying work processes and automate repetitive tasks.
Enable us to make well informed and precise decisions.
Facilitate collaboration and communication across IFRC departments and locations globally.
Improve interdepartmental collaboration and remote communication to promote a change culture.
Empower staff to embrace new technologies and ways of working.
The IFRC is ready to increase the effectiveness, efficiency and scale of what we do and how we serve.
What does IFRC want to achieve with change?
Support the IFRC to evolve into an agile, efficient and fit for purpose organization
Maximize the adoption to ensure the best return of investment related and Move from manual work to lot more Automation.
Move from a silos type of organization to the full integration between the departments through the ERP.
CADRIMs involvement with the ERP Project:
Supporting the creation of a global ERP training plan and training curriculums for all workstreams.
Development of training material for all workstreams to be used by all IFRC staff.
Creation and update of an IFRC ERP SharePoint site that provides ongoing updates about the project, connects staff to ERP champions, key implementers, facilitators and stores all training materials.
Actively contributes to the training methodology and provides advice on learning and training best practicies.
